Wow, April is turning out to be an extremely busy month for me. Not only am I joining the awesome team at capSpire, but I’ll be speaking at three separate conferences across the country. Just think, equal opportunity for you to come and harass me.
SharePoint Saturday Nashville on April 5th
First up for me is SharePoint Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee on April 5th. Just in case you are not aware, SharePoint Saturday is a free one day event where you can come and learn about SharePoint and hang out with some pretty cool people for free. I’ll be presenting my session “The SharePoint & jQuery Guide”. This is a great intro course for people wanting to understand what jQuery is and how to get started using it in SharePoint without the need for any tools like Visual Studio or feature deployment. I also show a few demos in this session as well. Whether you are a developer, IT Pro, or Power User there should be something in this session for you.
DEVintersection, OIrlando FL, April 13th – 16th
For those on the east coast I’ll be speaking in Orlando, Florida at the middle of the month. What’s great about Devintersection is the breadth of technology presented. It’s not JUST a SharePoint conference. In addition to SharePoint there’s also .NET, Visual Studio, SQL, Mobile and a plethora of other types of sessions. Devintersection is also co-located with the <anglebrackets /> conference for all you geeks who love web development. This conference truly has something for every developer.
I’ll be presenting two sessions at Devintersection about Client Side Development in SharePoint as well as a full day workshop on an Introduction to Client Side Development. Just think, you could spend a whole day in a room with me while I teach you all the cool stuff you can do in SharePoint using JavaScript, jQuery, REST, CSOM and a little bit of duct tape.

SPTechCon San Francisco, April 22nd – 25th
Finally, I’ll be traveling to the other side of the country to San Francisco where I will be speaking at one of my favorite SharePoint conferences in the country. Dave Rubenstein and company always put on a great event at awesome locations for SPTechCon.
